This Instructional Unit is part of a set of pilot instructional and assessment materials developed by NCEP for research purposes. NCEP's NSF-funded study investigated whether undergraduate students can improve their data analysis, critical thinking, and oral communication skills in a semester. The answer is yes! The materials here are presented as they were used in the study, but they also have been updated and adapted for those interested in using them in their own classroom.
